A Mother’s Boutique Pittsburgh’s Maternity & Breastfeeding Store
One thing that I am loving about Pittsburgh is the growing groups of moms looking to try new things. While breastfeeding is by no means a new thing it is one that has left our society and is now resurfacing as the ‘in’ healthy thing to do. Chain box stores try to help moms in their need for clothing to fit their ever changing bodies – both before and after the baby. However, most of them fall desperately short of knowledge, customer service and quality products. Mostly because the people working in the stores have never had a child nor have they successfully breastfeed – so how can they point a new mom in the right direction.
Not the case with A Mother’s Boutique. Judy Masucci has been through pregnancy, birth and a long-term breastfeeding relationship with her son. Not only did she nurse at home she also understands what it is like to have to sit at work with the calm humming of a machine. This past weekend Judy took A Mother’s Boutique from a vast online boutique and added to it a beautiful showroom in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
We had the honor of being part of her Grand Opening celebration and got to sit down with Judy and chat on her decisions to open the showroom and what you can find when visiting. (apologizes on the video – I think we had too many cameras on the same WiFi signal but the audio is great so just listen in!)
We personally have bought a number of nursing bras, sleeping bras, nursing tops and more products from A Mother’s Boutique. You can visit her store at MothersBoutique.com and all the information to the PA Showroom can be found on the site as well. You’ll love the “parade of bras” (see photo above) as Judy carries over 50 styles of nursing bras – yes seriously!
If you ever have any nursing questions I invite you to visit Judy’s blog MommyNewsBlog.com as there is a vast archive of breastfeeding, maternity and other related articles of information. If you have a question that isn’t answered feel free to contact Judy as she loves to assist new moms in their journey.
Have you ever shopped with A Mother’s Boutique or had your questions answered by reading Mommy News Blog? We’d love for you to share your comments (or even questions) below!

Mmmm hmmm, I’m glad I found this. I was going to post something like this but now I don’t think I’ll bother. Do you mind if I link to it from my livejournal? My visitors might like to see it too. Regards, Victoria
