I’m really proud of myself. I haven’t been in a long time. I’ve had low self-esteem for years. No matter how chipper or how confident I may have appeared – I wasn’t. Second guessing my every move wondering if I was doing things correctly. Would I please everyone around me?

The past few weeks I’ve been feeling wonderful. I’ve finally started to have a stream of clicking sounds in my head. My children and I are getting into a nice routine and having fun on a daily basis - click. My husband and I have been talking and opening our hearts up to His love – click. I’m finally opening up my notebook and putting all my ideas into action – click. Finding balance between family, work, and myself- click.

Click, click, click.

I’m learning how to balance my mind, my body, and even getting that time in for the health of my spirit. I’m even going to get the scale out. I know, I know. I just wrote about putting the scale away. However, I’m not going to do what I did before in walking past it I’d turn around and step on it. Nope. It’s one day a week. One Day. One Time.

I’ve been going by how wonderful I feel. That’s how I’m judging my success. However, I’m in a couple of support groups where we are tracking our weight and progress. So for them I’ll weight myself - okay, okay, I want to know too!!
