Eat ‘n Park: Celiac Gluten-Free Menu {Wexford, PA}

Posted by in Reviews & Giveaways

Many families with Autistic children are on the gluten-free diet so finding a family friendly restaurant that all can love can be a challenge. Those that have Celiac Disease may also find it difficult to eat out, especially when all the ingredients aren’t listed.

You learn to adapt though. Now that this disease may be the reason for my long-time suffering of skin rashes I’m in need of quick adaptation.

My sister recently gave me some Pirates Scratch-n-Win coupons for Eat ‘n Park. Since it’s a favorite of our families I thought last night was the perfect time to try it. Figured I could fill up on the salad bar as I was not waiting till ‘tomorrow’ to start my strict 30 days of gluten-free living.

To my surprise the back of the menus feature a Celiac Gluten-Free listing of all the items on the menu you can order. It also offers suggestions on some items that only need a substitution of a particular item. Craving salad and fruit I stuck with my original plan.

Did you know that all the dressings Eat ‘n Park has are gluten-free?

    We ate at the restaurant located just off I79 in Wexford, PA. We like this location as it’s one of the cleanest Eat ‘n Parks we have been too. I love the retro look and feel of the building. Reminds me of an old diner with servers dressed in white with black bow-ties. The servers here don’t dress that way but from the outside that’s what you expect.

    We have always had good service, food at just the right temperatures, and drinks that never have a chance to water down at this location. I can’t say the same for the Eat ‘n Park in Robinson, Twp.

I’m really glad to know that we have a place when our family wants to go out for a treat that we have a long list of gluten-free choices for us.
