Wow – four years. In high school that amount of time seemed to drag on. Now, as I sit here exhausted from the day I’m just thinking how fast the past four years have gone. It seems like just yesterday I was going to the doctor for a check up and to my surprise I ended up having to make another doctors appointment – an O.B. one.
Giggles - Age 3
Seven months later I was calling my friend, Lisa Clarke (a Lamaze instructor), and she was the one that let me know I was in labor. Five hours later I was a mom…again! It’s crazy to think all this happened four years ago. Giggles is our middle child and he’s not just Oreo creme filling – he’s chocolate Joe Joe cookie creme filling. He’s extra sweet and loves to get messy. Actually, I think he loves getting to play with water and soapy bubbles to get cleaned up better then getting messy.
I love being a mom more than oxygen itself. It’s challenging, rewarding, easy, graceful, enlightening, breath taking – and so much more every minute of every day.
So here’s to you my little man. I look forward to what the next four years has to hold – and I can’t wait to hold and hug you in the morning.
