How To Use A Nursing Cover-Up
Some mom’s when they first start breastfeeding are not comfortable to even feed in front of their husbands. I know I found it very weird with my first child – by my third I was nursing at restaurants and family events with no problems. The one thing that got me through those awkward moments was my Bebe Au Lait Eyelet nursing cover. It was beautiful and allowed me to have coverage so I never had to fear skin exposure or making others uncomfortable.
Yes, I know that many that are breastfeeding advocates say that moms shouldn’t have to cover up and they should be free to nurse when ever and where ever they want – while I find this true I know that as a new mom you are scared. I’d rather cover up and see other moms cover up verses grab the baby bottle just cause it’s easier and more welcomed in today’s society.
So how do you use a nursing cover-up – here is a great video that shows you how it works:

I have an identical cover from a different company and I have to agree – although I rarely cover up and more often use the cover as a playmat when we’re out, I do SOMETIMES cover up and when I do, I LOVE this cover as it is easy to still maintain eye contact. It definitely improved my confidence as a first time mom and breastfeeder and although I’m totally confident now, I love that I still have it when I want it. Great tutorial, thanks for sharing!
