My Blessed Life: Toddler Craft Ideas

Posted by on Oct 18, 2011 in Finding Creativity

We all want to spend more time with our kids so we caught up with My Blessed Life mom, Myra, to get some suggestions on some toddler friendly craft ideas.

MyBlessedLife is a delightful, inspiring blog committed to encouraging you to thrive in your home through diy home decor, seasonal crafts, delicious recipes and more! A beautiful home is more than meets the eye: ultimately, it’s a matter of the heart.

We asked Myra what her favorite projects to do with her two year old and she shared these two projects.

Homemade Fall Leaf Banner

This looks like a great frugal project to do with your kids. Not a lot of supplies needed and doesn’t require a lot of time to complete. Gathering up some fallen leaves, crayons, paper, and the kids are the main components needed for this fall leaf banner. A great way to get the kids involved for decorating the mantel, stair case or even their own doorways or headboards.

Frugal Toddler Activity: Rice Play

This activity is super easy to keep the little ones entertained and allow you to get dinner prepared. Just a simple bag of uncooked rice is all you need for this rice play. Adding in some measuring cups, spoons and plastic dishes to allow your child’s imagination to soar.
