Dink or Stink Review: Unless you lived under a rock you have at least smelled a Vaseline product. It’s a familiar scent that our parents and even our grandparents will recognize. Vaseline though has changed over the years especially recently- Vaseline launched a Prescribe The Nation campaign with it’s Clinical Therapy Lotion doing the repair on the nations dry, flaky skin.

When I first opened my box I was pleasantly surprised at the shape and even the feel of the Vaseline bottle. I tested the lightly scented version of the Clinical Therapy Lotion. It is a scent that I’d expect from Vaseline but it is nice, light, and doesn’t give you those ‘perfume headaches.’ Many times when I use a scented lotion I’m regretting putting it on within 5 minutes- not so with this lotion. I really enjoy the scent and if you don’t want a scent they also have a unscented version.

Now, I know you are curious- How is the moisturization? Seriously, it’s great! I have always had issues with eczema and psoriasis, especially on my one ankle. There are times my ankle can be so bad that it actually bleeds. Since I’ve been using this lotion my ankle has actually started to heal and is going back to ‘normal’ skin coloring. Mind you- I am a pale and pasty normal! My belly with all it’s stretch marks from the 3 kids I have given birth to over the past 5 years is looking so much better. The marks are beginning to fade and all over my body my skin has a healthy look to it.

It has been dry and bitterly-cold for the past few weeks here in Southwestern, PA. So as you can imagine I have dry skin. The Clinical Therapy Lotion provides me with a prescription strength moisture and the best part is I do not need a prescription or even a health plan! Rating 1-10: 9 [Dinker]- The ONLY reason why I gave this product a 9 is simply because it’s not natural. I love to find purely natural products to use on myself and in our home. Other than that I’d honestly have to give it a true rating of a 11 or even a 12 as it really HAS made a amazing difference in my skin especially my ankle- I’m even ready to go get that pedicure I’ve been putting off because of my ankle!
