Manufacturs Description: The Ultimate Giant Construction Building Toy- Connect, Twist, Create

Dinker or Stinker Review: **Please see the important safety update – Click here to read**
Okay so a bunch of balls, sticks, and some fun looking curtain panels. This should be interesting! Keep in mind I have a almost autistic 5 year old and a 3 year old so many toys in our house get played with for 5 minutes then it’s on to the next item.

After opening the box and digging into the toy we quickly realized that our 3 year old could not ‘twist’ the pieces to lock them. None the less, he was still right in there building and having fun. He didn’t even seem to mind that his pieces fell apart upon picking them up or moving them. Now Hunter, our 5 year old was really having fun looking at the idea sheets and picking out things to make and trying to do them.

Marty, my husband, was right in there with the boys reliving his Lincoln Log, Lego, and TinkerToy days. Within 10 minutes with the help of daddy the boys soon has a castle creation that took up the ENTIRE playroom! They absolutely loved it!

About 3 hours later- yes it entertained them for over 3 hours- the sticks soon became swords and the kids had lost interest in building. This toy has the record for holding their attention the longest of any toy in our household. They did break a few pieces by not disconnecting the spheres/balls off the end of the stick before beating it on the floor. Many were easily fixed but two were cracked so they required a little more operation then the others to repair.

All in all this is a great toy. One then I haven’t mentioned is the educational books. My kids were a little young to understand them but after looking over the books and coming from a upbringing with a math teacher/school administrator for a mother I could see how this “toy” could be great in an elementary and middle school setting. It would make a fun way to learn angles and problem solving. So if you are looking for a good item to get your local school for a holiday or thank you gift I really recommend this as it could be used to help educate children for years to come!

Rating 1-10: 7 I gave it a 7 because it held my kids attention but yet it did seem to come apart easily. But don’t take just my word for it- check out Family Review Network to see what other moms thought of this educational toy.
