It’s no secret that homeschooling is tough, we parents try to keep our kids excited and interested in all of their studies but let’s face it this can be a bit hard when your closed in by four walls!
Most of us resort to field trips and a more hands on approach, my children seem to learn and retain more information if they can actually touch, feel or manipulate something.

Since we are a family focused on lessening our carbon foot print we do recycle, so I have come up with some crafty ways you can incorporate green living into your kids curriculum while allowing them to explore and have fun at the same time! I have always thought hosting a foreign student would be so fun and educational. What a great way for my son to learn first-hand how others live in different parts of the world! It will also be a fun way to learn a few words of another language and help a child practice their English skills.
